The agreement dates back to 2022. Paytm is also a sponsor of IPL. However, Chinese company Alibaba has a stake in Paytm.

The Byju company has also tied up with the BCCI for five years last year. She is a sponsor of Jersey. By 2022, it will give Rs 1079 crore to the BCCI. BCCI also has an agreement with Dream 11. However, BCCI treasurer Arun Dhumal has said that a meeting of the Governing Council has been called next week to review the agreement with Chinese companies.
