75 districts lockdown till 31 March
75 districts affected by coronavirus in the country have been lockdown till 31 March. All trains have been canceled. Along with this, metro and interstate buses services have also been suspended in these districts.
As part of the measures to avoid the havoc of Coronavirus, public curfew has been imposed across the country since 7 am on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, due to which people are not getting out of their homes. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the countrymen on Thursday, had appealed to impose a public curfew on Sunday from seven to nine in the night.
Delhi Metro to remain closed till 31 March, precaution for Coronavirus
During the Janata curfew, all public transport services including the Delhi Metro, rail services are closed, but other essential services are available, including medical services, fire services. A day earlier, on Saturday too, the number of vehicles on the roads was very low and most of the shops were closed except for essential items like vegetables, milk, medicines.
